Job Description:

We’re looking for a copywriter who has a high level of creativity, exceptional writing skills, marketing savvy and has the ability to thrive in a fast-paced agency environment. This is a full-time, remote position.

Here’s What You’ll Do:

  • Approach creative work and relationships with a team-first, collaborative mindset, aiming to produce the best end product that will ultimately be viewed by millions of visitors
  • Craft effective marketing copy (with a focus on direct response) for all creative formats and marketing channels
  • Concept with UI Designers and work together to ensure execution is consistent with approved strategy and best practices
  • Understand client strategy and translate it into engaging, well-written copy
  • Proofread content for grammatical accuracy and maintain consistent style
  • Meet multiple simultaneous deadlines
  • Attend and participate in all necessary internal and client-facing meetings
  • Ensure copy follows Brand voice and style guidelines, such as title casing, registered trademark usage, standard terminology (Auto Pay vs. auto-pay)
  • Present work internally and to the client when needed
  • Understand and implement disclaimers when required
  • Assist in training new copy staff
  • Monitor competitor sites to compare tactics
  • Produce copy for all marketing channels
  • Stay informed about digital marketing best practices

Here’s What You Need:

  • 3+ years of copywriting experience, preferably including 1+ year of direct response copywriting
  • Detail oriented, excellent ability to prioritize
  • Idea generation/blank page concepting
  • Understanding of the design system
  • Familiarity with marketing channels and formats
  • Knowledge of search engine optimization and search engine marketing best practices
  • Inquisitive and innovative mindset
  • Desire to improve and deepen understanding of marketing strategies
  • Ability to communicate effectively with teammates and stakeholders
